Grant Applications

Peninsula Poverty Response applied for two grants. A $3,700 CARES grant from Pacific County was awarded to replace lost revenue due to pandemic-related event cancellations. We also applied for a $4,800 grant to Peninsula Rotary Club to rent a large pavilion (40x120 feet), chairs, and tables for Project Community Connect.

Pack2School

PPR participated in the annual Pack2School event on August 27 - 28 by giving away hygiene items, toiletries, and clothing. We served at least 250 students and their families.

Project Community Connect

It is not too early to start planning for Project Community Connect. The event will be held outside to reduce the risk of Covid-19 transmission. Participants allowed in the pavilion will be limited based on square footage and current CDC guidelines.
